NXGEN have successfully delivered a complex
transport & engineering solution to relocate five
towhead structures from Wick Harbour.

NXGEN was contracted to survey, review and verify the route from a port in Texas, to an existing petrochemical site for over road loads, as well as the on-site route for petrochemical modules weighing up to 10,000Te.
NXGEN’s services determined the permissible size of module that could be taken via various routes to site, identifying the hazards and any obstructions.
On site engineering included route description for the main modules and swept paths from the module offload facility (MOF). NXGEN also conducted a RoRo study at the MOF for typical heavy lift vessels, checking the water depths, quay heights and RoRo ramp requirements.
