Our team recently completed a crankshaft replacement on a vessel in The Netherlands. This complex operation required a rapid turnaround time to minimise downtime for our client.
The NXGEN team supported the project by supplying a range of specialised support equipment. This included strand jacks to lift the engine components and our new multi-function electric power packs, which have been designed for ship repair projects. The remote control power packs allow our operators to have increased visibility in confined working areas. This engineered solution ensured a seamless operation to safely and securely lift the engine components during the replacement process.
