Our dedicated teams use extensive industry knowledge and experience to design and engineer cost-effective lifting and pulling solutions, in order to support a wide range of offshore oil & gas operations, such as offshore maintenance, riser pull-ins, winching, ballasting, complex heavy lifting, specialised transport, jacking and skidding.

Our comprehensive offshore services fleet allows us to mobilise an array of equipment including SPMTs, conventional trailers, barges, pumps, winches, on-board cranes, skidding systems and strand jack systems to support our clients individual needs.

Loadouts & Loadins.

Our dedicated engineering team are problem solvers and specialists at loading out / loading in jackets and topsides, and whilst the basic principles of loading out and loading in offshore structures do not change, we are constantly looking at how to adapt existing and new technology to assist with loadout and loadin operations. Technology continues to improve, and we feel it essential that our engineers also continue to adapt to ensure dynamic and innovative solutions are at our core.

Within the offshore oil and gas sector, our engineering support consists of designing transport arrangements for site moves, identifying the most effective equipment system for each individual loadout/in and providing detailed calculations including ballasting, sea fastening, mooring and load distribution on board the vessel. In addition, our weighing and load test services are regularly utilised within this sector prior to the loadout operation.

Offshore Oil & gas support.

Our knowledge and experience also enables the team to advise and support with the site layout to minimise site disruption and ensure that access to the quay is not restricted by modules currently in the fabrication phase to maximise efficiency.

NXGEN’s expansive equipment hire fleet is perfectly positioned to support projects within the offshore oil and gas sector. SPMT’s provide solutions for site moves as well as loadouts and the steering capability is extremely beneficial for sites with restricted space. Strand jacks and skidding systems are also available to hire depending on if the loadout quay has an existing skid track. All of which can be used in conjunction with our range of ballast pumps including high-capacity submersible pumps. NXGEN can also supply flat top barges, submersible and tug boat services. Including providing chartering services for barge and tug services.

In addition to our engineering and equipment hire support, we’re also able to provide personnel hire if required. The NXGEN team have a long history of working on offshore oil and gas projects and our operators are available to support and work as part of your team to complete site moves and loadout operations.
